With the amount of flying I’ve done this year it’s always going to be inevitable that you are going to get delays somewhere down the line. But for some reason I’ve had my fair share of arriving late at destinations and missing out on the 1st session of the shoot. This Trip to France to shoot at the Evian Hotel and Golf complex was the longest delay so far.

Flying into Geneva at rush hour is as bad if not worst than hitting the M25 at the wrong time. So by the time I arrived at the complex the light was already fading. I managed to do a semi lap of the course and got a feel for the layout and possible angles to cover over the next few days. As it worked out the course images were relatively easy to shoot as it’s a stunning course in a great setting with some brilliant light.

But the other part of the project which was to shoot lifestyle images was a different challenge because on the day allocated to the shoot the weather didn’t play ball.

We also had a film team covering all of my shoots and a few extras and so our time was split with the two young models Pier and Maude.  The film team were a good creative bunch of guys and easy to get on with, this is so important on a split shoot as we both have our own briefs and agendas.

Eventually the weather improved and both our young models performed brilliantly.

Here are a few stills from the lifestyle shoot. The new web site is now up and running and hopefully visitors to the site will get a good feeling of how wonderful a resort Evian is.
